Speak On It!

I now know what I must do. I've got to stop looking at everything that is wrong with me and speaking on it. I have learned that the more I say those things, the more they show up in my life.

No wonder I haven't been able to lose weight or get healthy this year, I'm too busy speaking negativity over my life: Look at my stomach - I can't stand it!

No wonder I don't have the energy or willpower to get up and move or eat right, I am a self-fulfilling prophecy: Oh my God, I'm so tired, I can barely move.

Instead of trying a new diet, watching another weight loss show, or picking up another you-can-do-it-book, I am going to study the Word, believe the Word, and speak the Word over this temple. It has worked for me in every other area of my life...what have I got to lose? Um...weight, negative thoughts, emotional baggage!

Ladies, whatever the most challenging part of your alignment is—whether it be mind, body, or spirit, or a mixture of them—it's time to speak over yourself and encourage yourself. Speak your promotion, your health, your increase, your next level!

MIND: Dr. Daniel Amen coined the acronym, ANT, automatic negative thoughts. These are the thoughts that come to mind without us doing anything. We usually never discuss them with anyone, AND we don't do anything to try to stop them. This week, pay special attention to the ANTs. When they occur, STOP everything you are doing, and speak over yourself. Turn the negatives into positives.

BODY: Speak wellness into your temple. When you feel your blood pressure rise, speak peace. When you reach for another piece of bread, speak satiation. When you feel tired, speak energy and vitality over yourself. When you don't feel like working out, get up and move anyway.

SPIRIT: When you feel down this week, encourage yourself. Spend time with Him, praising Him, thanking Him, telling Him all about your successes and how He has been a part of each one. Then, ask Him to deal with your misalignment. Ask Him to show you what to do, and then say it aloud!

“Words kill, words give life; they're either poison or fruit—you choose,” (Proverbs 18:21 The Message)
